All three are film school graduates, directed award-winning final-year projects that were screened in festivals around the world, and today they are making the challenging transition to a career in film and television direction

A special premiere screening of films made by four Haredi filmmakers, graduates of the first class of the Greenhouse Program A Kitzer for Haredi women filmmakers, initiated by the New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT).

The Jerusalem Women's Film Festival in partnership with the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund (GMFF) is proud to hold the third edition of “Short” – a program that provides development grants for short narrative films made by women.

This year, we are honored to host Dvorit Shargal, a radically independent filmmaker who has proven, time and again, that making films without any government funding is possible.
While none of her films received grants from a public film fund, they have been widely popular with the public.
