The Jerusalem Women's Film Festival in partnership with the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund (GMFF) is proud to hold the forth edition of “Short” – a program that provides development grants for short narrative films made by women.
More than 100 wonderful, diverse, and original proposals were submitted to the project this year.
From these, we have chosen five projects that stood out above all others.
In this Pitching event, the five selected creators will present their projects. Only one of them will win the grand prize - a production grant totaling 140,000 NIS.
The other four creators will receive development grants and professional guidance on the path to creating their films.
This year we are excited to award a production prize of 140,000 NIS to the winning script for the first time.

גשר לקולנוע רב תרבותי גאה לקיים בפעם הרביעית את "קצרות" - תחרות תסריטים
קצרים של יוצרות.
השנה אנחנו מתרגשות להעניק לראשונה פרס הפקה על סך 140,000 ש"ח לתסריט הזוכה.
למעלה מ100 הצעות נפלאות, מגוונות ומקוריות הוגשו השנה למיזם. מתוכן בחרנו חמישה פרוייקטים שבלטו מעל כולן.
בארוע חגיגי זה יציגו חמשת היוצרות הנבחרות את הפרוייקטים שלהן, כאשר רק אחת תזכה בפרס הגדול - מענק הפקה על סך 140 אלף ש"ח.
ארבעת היוצרות האחרות יזכו במענקי פיתוח וליווי מקצועי בדרך ליצירת הסרט שלהן.
צוות השופטים בתחרות:
מיכל אביעד - Michal Aviad
במאית ותסריטאית של סרטים עלילתיים ודוקומנטריים. במהלך השנים ביימה את "אישה עובדת" שזכה בפרס אופיר לשחקנית הטובה ביותר, "לא רואים עלייך" השתתף בפסטיבל ברלין וזכה בפסטיבל חיפה, "דימונה טוויסט" שזכה בפרס התיעודי הטוב ביותר בפסטיבל ירושלים ועוד. אביעד היא ממקימות פורום היוצרים הדוקומנטרים בשנות ה-90, ממקימות פסטיבל הנשים ברחובות ב2004 והיועצת האמנותית שלו, וממקימות פורום הקולנועניות ב2012.
עינת גלזר-זרחין - Einat Glazer-Zarhin
עורכת קולנוע ישראלית. בוגרת החוג לקולנוע וטלויזיה באוניברסיטת תל אביב. ערכה עשרות סרטים עלילתיים, דוקומנטרים וסדרות טלויזיה ומחזיקה בשיא הזכיות בפרס אופיר לעריכה הטובה ביותר- על הסרטים "מסוכנת" (1998), "החברים של יאנה" (1999), "כנפיים שבורות" (2002), "מדורת השבט" (2004), "איזה מקום נפלא" (2005), "אביבה אהובתי" (2006), ו"הערת שוליים" (2011).
נשואה , שלושה ילדים ושני נכדים . אוהבת את חדר העריכה בכל ליבה.
גיא עפרן- Guy Ofran
תסריטאי ועורך תסריט. הפיצ'ר הראשון שלו, "שרקייה", הוקרן בפסטיבל ברלין ובקאן, זכה בשלושה פרסים בפסטיבל ירושלים, ביניהם פרס הסרט הטוב ביותר. שלושה תסריטים שכתב זכו למענקי פיתוח מקרנות הקולנוע. יוצר ותסריטאי הסדרה "ים המוות" שנמכרה לערוץ "כאן 11", ומשמש כלקטור ראשי של קרן גשר לקולנוע רב תרבותי.

The Landlady - May Resh
Ori, a ten-year-old girl, spends the long summer days together with her two brothers at her father’s place - a small housing unit located in the yard of a country house owned by an old lady they refer to as “the witch”. The territorial battles that develop between the children and the landlady fill, at first, the boredom and emptiness of the summer vacation. However, soon they escalate to become too real, and too cruel. Ori, threatened and at the same time intrigued by her neighbor, discovers that she must choose between observation and action, vengeance and compassion.
I couldn't save Mom - Gan De- Langa
Producer: Koby Mizrahi
Mom is a giant jelly blob in a fuchsia color. She lives inside a square box on a branch of a tree. Every few years, she falls out of the box and loses her mind. Her daughter, son, and husband need to gather her and help her get back up.
Event Horizon - Shira Gefen
A story about a family that decides to go on a forced vacation to recover from the death of the father. The protagonist is Noga, a five-year-old, and the film is told from her perspective. While the father grapples with his loss, Noga contends with the relentless tension she experiences amid the constant conflict between her parents. And suddenly, she grows up.
Chayimsheli - Ziv Mamon
Shani, a shy 16-year-old girl, discovers that a private video of hers, filmed by the boy she is in love with, has been circulated on Telegram, and everyone in her close circle has seen it. In an instant, her whole world turns upside down. She embarks on a journey to remove the video and search for its distributor. By the end of the night, she realizes that the boy she loves is the one who shared the video, and worse, he can never disappear from the internet.
Tree - Efrat Korem
Mali (12) and Shimon (4) are two siblings who keep a secret. Their mother left a few days ago and has not returned. They are alone in the world. Mali is responsible and knows how to take care of her brother, but when Shimon is stabbed by adrug syringe in the yard, Anita, the kindergarten assistant, insists on meeting their mother. The children do everything to prevent Anita from coming to their home and succeed. However, the fear of the secret being revealed arises when the doctor, encountering them in the clinic, wants to hand them over to the authorities. What's left for them to do? Just run away.

בעלת הבית- מאי רש
אורי בת העשר מעבירה את ימי הקיץ הארוכים יחד עם שני אחיה ביחידת דיור קטנה, שאביה שכר בחצר ביתה של אישה מבוגרת, אותה הם מכנים "המכשפה". הקרבות הטריטוריאליים בין הילדים לבין בעלת הבית ממלאים את השעמום והריקנות של חופשת הקיץ, אבל מתפתחים לכדי מאבק אמיתי ואכזרי מידי. אורי, מאוימת ובו בזמן מרותקת אל שכנתה, ניצבת בפני הכרעה בין התבוננות ופעולה, נקמה וחמלה.
לא הצלחתי להציל את אמא- גן דה לנגה
אמא היא גוש ג׳לי ענק בצבע אדום פוקסיה. היא חיה בתוך ארגז מרובע על ענף של עץ. אחת לכמה שנים היא נופלת מהארגז ומאבדת את דעתה. בתה, בנה ובעלה צריכים לאסוף אותה ולעזור לה לעלות בחזרה.
אופק האירועים- שירה גפן
סיפורה של משפחה שהחליטה לצאת לחופשה כפויה בכדי להתאושש ממותה של אם האב. הגיבורה היא נגה בת החמש והסרט הוא דרך נקודת מבטה. כשהאבא מתמודד עם אובדנו, נגה מתמודדת עם תחושת הסופיות אותה היא חווה נוכח ריב בלתי פוסק בין הוריה. ובבת אחת מתבגרת.
חיימשלי- זיו ממון
שני, נערה ביישנית בת 16 מגלה שסרטון מיני שלה שצולם על ידי הבחור שהיא מאוהבת בו, הופץ בטלגרם וכל הסביבה הקרובה שלה ראתה אותו. ברגע אחד כל עולמה מתהפך. היא יוצאת למסע להסרת הסרטון ולחיפוש אחר המפיץ שלה. בסוף הלילה היא מבינה שהבחור שבו היא מאוהבת הוא זה שהפיץ את הסרטון וגרוע מכך, שהוא לעולם לא יוכל להיעלם מהרשת.
עץ- אפרת כורם
מלי (12) ושמעון (4) הם שני אחים השומרים סוד. אימם עזבה לפני מספר ימים ועוד לא שבה. הם לבדם בעולם. מלי אחראית ויודעת לטפל באחיה, אך כששמעון נדקר על ידי מזרק נגוע בגן, אניטה הסייעת דורשת לפגוש את אימם. הילדים עושים הכול כדי למנוע את הגעתה של אניטה לביתם ומצליחים. אבל אימת גילוי הסוד נוכחת כשהרופאה הפוגשת בהם בקופת חולים רוצה למסור אותם לידי הרשויות. מה נותר להם לעשות? רק לברוח.
